Colonia
Florian Gallenberger's drama The Colony is inspired by real events that took place in the Chilean colony of Dignidad during the Pinochet regime. The Dignidad Colony was founded and run by former Nazi doctor Paul Schäfer. In the 1970s, when some of the members escaped from the closed colony, it became clear that the sect was torturing Pinochet's opponents and sexually abusing children.
