Three years ago, the horror Sinister scared the hell out of you in the dark halls of cinemas, and now it's here again, and with it comes the return of evil, because Bagul, the terrifying pagan demon that eats children's souls, is back.

Courtney Collins moves into an abandoned country house with her twin nine-year-old sons, Dylan and Zach. But they soon discover that they may not be entirely alone between the walls of the house. An old projectionist and films, a camera, the souls of children, murdered families used as sacrifices to something or someone, return to the scene of a bloody story... Little Dylan is changing, behaving more and more mysteriously, and seems to be under the influence of strange forces. Bagul's moment is coming. Is there any hope of stopping the impending bloody ritual? Is an abandoned house or a nearby church enough protection? Or rather a trap? Can help be found? We won't tell you.

Although there has been a change in the director's chair in the form of Ciarán Foy, the director and spiritual father of the first installment, Scott Derrickson, has remained at the writing table and contributed to the script for this sequel, which will once again scare the bejesus out of you.
