Incarnate

Eleven-year-old Cameron (David Mazouz) suddenly starts acting strangely. He locks himself in his room, speaks in strange ancient languages and shows other signs of obsession. When his mother (Carice van Houten) notices, she contacts the Vatican experts, who send a specialist in such cases to the boy, who enlists the help of Dr. Seth Ember (Aaron Eckhart) and his team. This is because Dr. Ember has the unique ability to enter directly into the minds of possessed people when treating them and confront the personified evil that causes the mind to go insane. He does not consider himself a traditional exorcist of devils, but rather a sort of "cleaner". And his moment comes when all the efforts of traditional exorcists have failed.

And that moment has come for little Cameron. Dr. Ember enters his subconscious, where a demon holds the boy captive in an imaginary dream world. This evil adversary turns out to be much stronger than Ember expected. Moreover, he is haunted not only by a cunning and insidious demon, but also by his own traumatic past. Ember must deploy all of his abilities, and perhaps even his life, to overcome the demon and save the boy.

The director of the horror film Incarnation, Brad Peyton, has made, among others, the disaster film San Andreas and the adventure fantasy Journey to Mysterious Island 2.
